and it is done...

Today the USA has welcomed me, as one of it's newly sworn-in citizens, with cookies, a string quartet, a letter from the president, and among other goodies in the "Homeland Security" giveaway bag - a little flag. Cute. We gave allegiance to the flag, and the marine we were repeating after forgot the words. We sang the national anthem - nobody knew the words, even the judge wouldn't sing when everybody else just hummed along to the music, and made us repeat it.

I am now Sarit Stanislava Reizin-Bernstein. I requested a name change which expedited the process of the naturalization, and now I have all my birth-given, self given, and husband-given names, in one place, and I can cut, pick, and choose the ways and combinations in which I would like to use them. *deep breath* so there you go... :)
